Clover/Shuyi Li is an illustrator, and designer based in NY/NJ area, USA. Originally from China.

She did her undergraduate at the Arts University Bournemouth, England. After graduation, she worked as a designer in the Advertisement, Publishing, and Education field for three years. Feeling the urge to pursue an illustrator’s career, she returned to school to keep exploring her passion for painting and visual storytelling. She graduated from the Illustration MFA program at the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2021.

Nature and animals always inspire her work, she also loves exploring exciting elements in drama and fashion to draw. Because of her cross-culture life experience, she loves to create stories about venturing out of one's comfort zone, as well as depicting diverse landforms, local art and cultures. By creating lively animal characters, she wishes to bring her audience a playful and positive vibe, to allow one to enjoy a healing moment of naiveness and authenticity.

​Clover's work has been recognized by AI-AP American Illustration, the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, Ijungle, Hiii Illustration international award.
